Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-01-15
This policy explains what information StyleStats collects when you visit stylestats.org, how it's used, and the choices you have. Our intent is to collect as little information as we need to keep the site running well.
What we collect
The Site is a static website. We do not require user accounts and we do not ask visitors to submit personal information. Our hosting provider records standard server logs that may include IP address, user agent, referrer, and the URL requested. These logs are kept for a short retention window for security and operational purposes.
Cookies
StyleStats does not set tracking cookies. We may use a single privacy-friendly analytics service to understand aggregated traffic patterns; if so, that service is configured not to set persistent cookies and not to share data with third parties.
Third-party content
Some pages embed images and fonts from third-party CDNs. Those providers may receive your IP address and basic request metadata when their resources load. We do not share any additional information with them.
Use of information
We use server logs and aggregated analytics to:
- Detect and respond to abuse, errors, and outages.
- Understand which articles and reports are most useful so we can prioritize new ones.
- Improve site performance.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade visitor information. Aggregated, non-identifying analytics may be shared publicly (for example, "the docs page is the most visited page this month").
Your choices
You can disable cookies and JavaScript in your browser without losing access to most of the Site. The Site is designed to function without client-side scripting beyond what's needed for the layout.
Children
The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, post a notice on the homepage.
